The National Innovation Centre for Data's annual data and business innovation conference

Each year, the National Innovation Centre hosts its Data Innovation Showcase, the ultimate data science and innovation event in the North East of England.

With expert insights from our team of data scientists, plus hands-on data workshops and plenty of networking opportunities, this exciting two-day conference celebrates the latest and greatest in AI, data and innovation.

Data Innovation Showcase 2023

On 27 and 28 September 2023, the National Innovation Centre for Data hosted its inaugural Data Innovation Showcase at The Catalyst in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Our 2023 conference welcomed a huge range of speakers and exhibitors from organisations such as Jumping Rivers, AkzoNobel and Mitsubishi Chemical. 

We were blown away by the positive reception to our first ever Data Innovation Showcase, and enjoyed a brilliant two days meeting individuals with a shared passion for data-driven development.

 

Data Innovation Showcase 2024

Our second-annual Data Innovation Showcase took place in 25 and 26 September 2024, and was the culmination of months of hard work and planning behind the scenes!

2024's event welcomed a few familiar faces from last year as well as new supporters and speakers from diverse organisations such as Seascape Systems, Teacher Success Platform and Newcastle University Business School.

Our 2024 conference explored the ever-changing landscape of data science and AI, and we had a fantastic time learning alongside and from our attendees.
